FRIENDS

There's also another way we influence ourselves from others-

As a part of introduction, plz take a test -

Answer the  questions-
  1. Are you intelligent?
  2. Do you have a sound health?
  3. Is your sense of dressing good?
  4. Are you talkative?
  5. Are you introvert?

Don't feel ashamed! I'm not asking answers, just think and keep the answers in your pocket.

Whatever the answers, one thing I know for sure is on what basis, you decided your answers...

If the answer to first question was 'yes',before answering you must have recalled incidents from past where you flaunted your intellect OVER OTHERS. If answer was 'no', you imagined yourself unable to do a sort of calculation.
Imagine a boy- John (don't smile if your name is John, be mature). First, his friends are the ones who are  champions winning nobel prizes for scientific inventions, What John has won only one nobel prize? SO SORRY.....
Imagine same John living with smokers and alcoholic, WOW! living with those people, he has won ONE NOBEL PRIZE, HE'S A GENIUS...

Can we stop comparing others ourselves with their our friends?

You have answered Yes to health question, if people surrounding you not healthier than you, if someone who always remains happy with no disease and self-confidence, no stress or tension, completely hygienic, perfect hair, eyes, skin and so on, watch how your answer changes.
You have called yourself talkative if you talk more than friends, if you tomorrow meet a incredible 'chatter-box', you will conclude I felt I'm a chatter-box, but I'm not.

Following is  Titchener illusion  for you, observe the inner circles. Which one is greater?

You might have got why I am sharing this illusion, both the circles are of same size, we judge the circles on the basis of surrounding circles.

THIS ILLUSION IS FROM THE WEBSITE

  REALLY THANK YOU!

So, it is clear that we judge ourselves ON THE BASIS OF PEOPLE SURROUNDING US-
HOW SHAMEFUL!..

I heard a song in an advertisement of a car which said-
''Khud se hi aage jaana hai!'' which means ''I've to get ahead of myself''.

Let's be the grateful to the God that he has given us the talent of comparing.
''MAKE YOUR WEAKNESS YOUR STRENGTH''
Let's focus it on comparing us with our past.
''WE ARE CHANGING EVERY SECOND''
So, why not we change for good?

Now answer the questions by judging yourself what you were one year ago, what you are now?

You can check your progress by maintaining your diary, write everyday, what happened today, situations, how you tackled?

After some time, read your diary entry of one month ago or more, and judge your development.

Set your line which you consider minimum you consider as success, same like poverty line, if you fall below the line today, you are good, if you fall above, you are better.

Like poverty line, this line would change from time to time and person to person.

You are going to judge yourself according to this line, not your others.

And now I understood, when I cried over marks that my friend has scored more, my parents used to say-

''DON'T COMPARE WITH OTHERS!''
